Introduction to Yunnan Safari Park

Panda House

Located the ring-shaped valley in the north of the park, the Panda House covers an area of 2, 000 square meters. It is home to three panda cubs that survived Wenchuan earthquake: Sijia, Meixi and Qianqian. Giant panda’s favorite, bamboos, are planted around Panda House, and several kinds of flowers can be found among the lush vegetation. It is comfortable and peaceful in the valley, so the panda can freely wander, play, lie down and sit up, and eat bamboo or grass in the glass enclosure. Visitors can enjoy the cuteness of the giant pandas from different angles. In particular, Sijia, the panda celebrity, attracted not only local fans in Yunnan but also has many followers throughout the world. At present, the growing pandas have been kept apart to live independently, living a carefree life that consists of tree climbing, running, swimming, and eating bamboo leaves every day.
